Produce shipment preparation
A produce load should not reach dispatch as a city pair and a pickup date. The operating team needs a current origin release, a complete product profile, written equipment instructions, a realistic stop plan, and a receiver appointment. This checklist organizes those facts without prescribing commodity settings.
Use this guide when
Checkpoint 01
Name the exact shipping facility and the party who can confirm product readiness. A requested pickup date is not the same as a packout completion, storage release, or loading appointment.
Checkpoint 02
The product owner should provide the commodity, pack, loading condition, and written trailer instructions. Transportation uses those facts to evaluate equipment and operating fit.
Checkpoint 03
Transit starts after the last pickup is complete. Recheck the delivery plan whenever a stop, loading window, or facility release changes.
